Delete your SEN Patterns account
Last updated 4 October 2026
You can delete your SEN Patterns account, and everything in it, at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your information when you do. SEN Patterns is published by [owner to confirm: developer name as shown in the App Store and Google Play].
Before you delete
- Deleting cannot be undone. If you would like a copy of what you have recorded, download it first: open Settings, then Backup and export.
- If you subscribed on a phone, cancel in the store first. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage it in your App Store subscriptions or your Google Play subscriptions.
- A subscription bought on the SEN Patterns website is cancelled for you.

By email
If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, email hello@senpatterns.com with the subject “Delete my SEN Patterns account”. Please send it from the email address you sign in with. We may write back to check the request came from you. We delete the account within one month of hearing from you, and tell you by email when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in: your email address, password and any Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your profile and settings.
- The profile of every child you added, and everything recorded for them: logs, notes, check-ins, reflections, progress, routines and calendar entries — including what carers in your household recorded about them.
- School records: school days, incidents, events, teacher notes and behaviour plans.
- The photos and documents you uploaded.
- Your contacts, saved resources and saved location.
- Notes and summaries written for you by AI.
- Your posts, votes and reports on the feedback board.
- Your phones’ notification registrations.
- The record of who downloaded, opened or sent on your information.
- A subscription bought on the SEN Patterns website is cancelled, and your customer record with Stripe is removed.
- Your household, if you are its only member. If other carers belong to it, it stays with them, and their own accounts are not affected.
What is kept
- An App Store or Google Play subscription, until you cancel it with Apple or Google.
- Records of payments, which Stripe, Apple and Google keep for as long as the law requires them to.
- The database’s change history, which can hold deleted information for up to seven days, after which it is gone.
- Copies held by the services listed in the privacy notice, for the periods it gives there: for example, each email’s delivery record, which Resend keeps for 30 days, and, if you said yes to analytics, website usage statistics, which PostHog keeps for at least a year.
- Emails you have already received, and any files you exported.
- Other carers’ own accounts, and any children they added themselves with everything recorded about those children.
